We are not the contractor
Grand Valley Home Help is an independent information and referral resource. We do not perform plumbing, drain cleaning, sewer work, construction, or other home-service work ourselves unless the website expressly states otherwise in the future.
Independent service providers
A service provider introduced through this website is an independent business, not an employee, agent, franchisee, or representative of Grand Valley Home Help. Providers are responsible for their own licensing, insurance, estimates, contracts, warranties, pricing, scheduling, safety practices, and work quality.
We may be paid for an introduction
Grand Valley Home Help may receive compensation from a participating provider for a qualified lead, phone call, appointment, referral, completed introduction, or another agreed marketing service.
Our compensation does not mean that we endorse every aspect of a provider's business or guarantee the provider's work. Consumers should make their own hiring decision and may ask a provider directly about licensing, insurance, references, scope, pricing, and warranties.
How a service request may be shared
When a consumer explicitly requests professional contact, the information needed to respond to that request may be shared with one independent local service provider selected for that request.
We are intentionally starting with an exclusive-routing model rather than sending the same request to numerous contractors. If that practice changes, the website's disclosure and consent language should be updated before the changed practice is used.
No guarantee of availability or outcome
We do not guarantee that a provider will be available, accept a request, provide a particular price, diagnose a problem in a specific way, or complete any work. Any service agreement is between the consumer and the independent provider.
Educational information is not a diagnosis
Articles, symptom checkers, pricing discussions, and guides on this website are general educational information. A website cannot inspect a property or diagnose the condition of a drain or sewer line.
